Organic salt can refer to several different substances: in biology, organic salt can refer to a monochloroacetic acid (chlorate) having an oxygen bond which has been electronitized. In chemistry, however, an organic salt can refer to any salt (chloride) with an ion of an organic element. In marketing, organic salts are often referred to as natural sea salt. The term “organic” is not used entirely randomly, as the term can be applied to many different substances with different properties. As a result, the term can sometimes be misleading.

It is used for deodorizing, as a laxative, as an antihistamine, as an antiseptic, as disinfectant, as an antifungal, as an antimicrobial, as a preservative, as a stabilizer, and as a flavoring agent. There are so many uses for salt, that it’s difficult to name them all.

Organic and inorganic salts have different uses, depending on their chemical properties. Organic salts occur naturally in nature, in rocks, and are frequently used as a source of potassium chloride. While inorganic salts are formed more commonly in industry from salt springs and are often employed as additives. There are also industrial salts used in chemical processes, for example as reagent and as industrial salt.

An organic solvent is first boiled away; then, water evaporates at a high temperature and solidifies into saltpeter, a fine crystal salt. Organic salts used to make table salt do not contain any of the metals or elements commonly found in the ordinary table salt. Table salt, as we all know, contains numerous metals and elements, as well as natural colors such as gold, silver, and red.

Many consumers are unaware of the existence of the world organic salt market. To this day, there are no standardization or quality standards for CXOCCs.
